The opportunity exists for a self-motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join an industry leading, plastics manufacturing company in North Carolina.  We are North America's largest custom rotational molder, serving premier original equipment manufacturers.  This position has been added to support the growth of our business. 



The successful candidate will enjoy a wide variety of challenges and will have the opportunity to lead engineering technicians and interns.  Typical job activities will include: facilities planning and layouts, designing, specifying, and installing production equipment, production support for manufacturing processes, safety and ergonomic enhancements to support a “safety first” culture, application of new technology for efficiency gains, application of the Centro Quality System for new processes, and mistake-proofing operations. 

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering/technology (or an equivalent degree).  Looking for someone with the skills and experience to match the job activities listed.  Knowledge of lean manufacturing principals, manufacturing processes, methods to measure and enhance manufacturing efficiencies preferred, along with a working knowledge of AutoCAD.  A commitment to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, cost savings, technology application and team work is required.
