Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a critical role in Centro's ability to perform both profitably and ethically. This position must understand, manage, advise and regulate all financial and legal areas of Centro to ensure compliance with outside governing authorities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees Finance functions and assures that systems and information are timely, accurate, legally compliant and effective.
  • Oversees the success of the Materials and Information Systems Departments.
  • Authorizes proper policies and procedures for all financial management.
  • Directs annual corporate budget and financial plans. Performs cash flow forecasting and business modeling, where appropriate.
  • Directs annual financial audit and tax return preparation. Responsible for all tax matters of the corporation.
  • Directs Cost Accounting function and recommends Cost Management objectives, action plans and allocation of resources that result from analysis. Ensure product is priced accurately.
  • Performs financial and ratio analysis and recommends strategy to achieve corporate objectives and competitive benchmarks.
  • Directs financial performance for Centro international operations.
Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance or similar discipline required. MBA degree and/or CPA certification preferred. Knowledge of applied math and statistics required.
  • Ten years of progressive and successful financial management experience required, including (10) years in a leadership position. Manufacturing environment experience highly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of modern manufacturing design and processes, including ISO 9002 quality systems standards as they apply to financial operations, root cause analysis, OSHA safety requirements and effective problem-solving techniques highly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, meeting management, vendor relations and team building skills are required. Personal and business integrity, strong values and a sense of humor are required. Ability to nurture positive, mutually beneficial business relationships with team members and with Centro’s vendors is required.
