3. Ability to read engineering drawings and visualize three-dimensional geometry.

qualified. These competencies (and associated training) are detailed in Centro’s Quality System

Specific Position Responsibilities:



1. Works closely with Leader to schedule completion of internal and external customer requirements



in a timely manner. Alerts responsible personnel to potential delays at earliest possible moment.



2. Performs required inspections on prototype parts, production parts, components, and molds



including:



A. Checks weight and wall thickness of parts, when necessary.



B. Cold temperature impact testing of parts when necessary.



C. Dimensional layouts.



D. Completion of customer requested studies and formats, including ISIR, PQR, PPA, V studies



and others.



E. Auditing and documenting receiving inspection of prototype components.



F. Material verifications.



G. Others, as required.



3. Works closely with Project Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Business Unit Quality personnel to



develop and document part and component inspection plans.



4. Trains Business Unit Quality personnel regarding equipment operation, inspection plans and



methods, when required.



5. Trains new operators.



6. Works closely with customers to ensure equipment operation, inspection plans and methods, when



required.



7. Carefully and neatly documents inspection results. Marks drawing with dimension numbers or



documents dimension coordinates on inspection form, whenever possible. Copies the appropriate



Sales Engineer, Project Engineer, Quality Engineer, and Engineering Manager with documents.



8. Documents datum target locations on drawing or on a part, whenever possible. Documents special



set-ups with photographs, when necessary.



9. Presents inspection results to the Sales Engineer, Project Engineer, and Quality Engineer.



Explains out-of-tolerance features and inspection methods.



10. Works closely with the Project Engineer on problem resolutions.



11. Works closely with Engineering personnel on fixture construction, revision and verification.
