The ideal candidate for this job must be able to learn and apply a wide variety of tasks directly related to the requisition and inventory, processor as well as shipping and receiving procedures. 

This successful candidate will enjoy a wide variety of challenges and tasks and will supply the production department with supplies needed to produce our product.

This person will become familiar with packing list, bills of lading and inspection of goods received.

The candidate must be able to operate a forklift, computer, and assigned equipment effectively and safely.

Must  be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, stoop, reach and bend

Job Summary

Receives, ships, and inventories various materials, including components and non-component items.    Requisitions non-component items used for production, maintenance, and engineering.  Issues components and materials as needed at work cells to meet production schedules.   Maintains monthly expense records and scoreboards for all machine teams.   

Receiving:
Receives and checks in all component and non-component items verifying inventory count.  

Initiating Requisitions & Maintaining Inventory:
Maintains accurate inventory and issues requisitions for non-component items for production, maintenance, and engineering functions.   Also requisitions and maintains inventory of graphics, finishing tools, returnable containers and packaging, returnable rags, safety cabinet supplies, and office supplies.

Supplying:
Counts and distributes components and non-component items to work areas for the manufacture and assembly of parts as needed to meet production schedules.   Picks up and delivers materials throughout the facility as requested.   Restocks fixtures.  Premixes and distributes formula and release to production areas.  Creates, prints, and maintains all labels for production and shipping.    May also assist Shipping & Material Handling as needed.

Maintains monthly expense record and scoreboard at all rotational molding machines. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

1. An ability & desire to learn and apply a wide variety of tasks directly related to the requisition and inventory processes as well as shipping and receiving procedures.  Must be able to operate a forklift, computer, and assigned equipment effectively and safely to perform the essential job functions. 
The job has specific competency requirements to become and remain qualified.  These requirements and associated training are detailed in Centro’s Quality System.  The Associate is responsible to request any additional training they need, using the Request for Internal Training form.
2. High School diploma or GED required.  Additional education and experience in manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions; add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers; and learn and apply organizational & computer skills sufficiently to perform essential job functions. 
3. Must be able to read, write, speak, and hear sufficiently for effective interpersonal communications and to perform essential functions of the job effectively.  Must be able to judge depth, distinguish colors, detect variances visually and read measurements, computer screen data and written documents.  Must be able to grasp, feel and handle product, lift and carry product weighing up to 30 pounds continuously, carry product weighing up to 50 pounds periodically, stand for long periods, walk and climb stairs, stoop, reach and bend and pass physical exam.
4. A commitment to quality, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, teamwork and safety required.  Must learn and practice basic Team functions, including problem solving, cooperation, communications, conflict resolution and action planning.

IV. License or Certification: 
Forklift License, First Aid and CPR training and current certification desirable 

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm

Starting Pay is $19.35
