The Sales Engineer is responsible for creating, developing and maintaining positive, mutually beneficial business relationships with Centro customers and potential customers. Serves as primary contact and communicator with customers, ensuring that they are satisfied and their expectations are exceeded. Pursues and maintains the development of a diversified customer portfolio of industry leading OEM’s whose rotational molding needs, quality focus and business philosophies provides a suitable match to Centro’s business mission, sales and customer diversification goals, and production capabilities.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Client Engagement: Identify and establish relationships with potential clients, understanding their unique plastic manufacturing needs.
  • Technical Solutions: Collaborate with our engineering team to develop customized plastic solutions that address client challenges and objectives.
  • Presentation: Deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals that showcase our capabilities and value.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Customer Support: Provide ongoing technical support and assistance to clients throughout the sales process and beyond.
Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or similar areas of study.
  • Proven experience in technical sales.
  • Strong understanding of plastics manufacturing processes and materials preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • A customer-centric mindset and a passion for solving client challenges.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
