The work performed by the Information Systems Programmer Analyst in maintaining Centro's systems as well as supporting new and improved ways of accessing information is vital in our efforts to achieve our Strategic Plan Stretch Goals and our Quality Objectives. When associates have access to the information they need in a timely fashion, they make better decisions and ultimately are able to serve our customers better.

Duties will include:

• Provides technical support to the operation and maintenance of corporate data processing systems and functions.
• Repairs, maintains and enhances hardware and software applications so that the DP system and its components are secure and complete in performance.
• Instructs and assists Associates in the operation of DP system components to fully utilize available technology.
• Assists the Manger of Information Systems in designing and implementing appropriate cost-effective software and hardware solutions to support Company growth.

Qualifications:

• An Associate’s degree in computer science is strongly preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or a directly related computer curriculum is preferred.
• A minimum of (1) year of software maintenance, enhancement and development related employment experience is required. Experience with business and manufacturing software environments strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with Epicor ERP 10, LAN and PC based client server systems, Relational Databases, Windows Operating Systems, Unidata, SQL, and Microsoft Office tools strongly preferred. Ability and desire to continue learning new hardware and software applications is required.
• Proficiency in Windows and Citrix Server is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Internet related technology and applications; including HTML, ASP, and VB is required.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with minimum supervision are required.
