CENTRO ANNOUNCES CARB EXECUTIVE ORDERS

North Liberty, IA -- January 8, 2007 -- Centro, Inc., a custom rotational molder headquartered in North Liberty, Iowa, announces that they have recently received three Executive Orders from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) under the Innovative Product Category.

The Executive Orders certify that Centro has provided three different solutions for manufacturing fuel tanks that have passed stringent testing requirements for low evaporative emissions. Centro is the only rotational molder that has received an Executive Order from California. The new California regulations for low evaporative emissions tanks go into effect for Small Off-Road Equipment with 25 horsepower or less engines in 2008. It is also interesting to note that Centro passed the stringent California tests using CE10 fuel (10% ethanol), which is more difficult than using the specified CERT (standard test) fuel. This positions Centro to meet future EPA standards, which are likely to regulate emissions for off-road vehicles outside California.

Centro considers the materials and processes used for two of the Executive Orders as proprietary. One of the solutions has a patent pending and will be called RotoLoPerm Technology. Centro's three different solutions provide a variety of choices for different applications, depending on size, operating temperature, impact requirements, and molded features. You can view these Executive Orders at http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/offroad/sore/sorecomponent/sorecomponent.htm.

One of Centro's Executive Orders is for tanks manufactured using a proprietary formulation in their Rotomolded Anionic Polymerization (RAP) process. This is a process that Centro introduced in 2005, and you can read more about this process at http://www.centroinc.com/Liquid_Nylon_Press_Release.pdf.

The CARB Executive Orders further position Centro as the technology leader in fuel tank manufacturing. Centro was recently listed as the 6th largest rotational molder in North America, according to Plastics News, and the largest custom rotational molder in North America. Centro has been in business since 1970 and has five plant locations in four states.
