Human Resources Generalist

Job Overview: The Senior Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for managing all aspects of the human resources function for our Claremont, North Carolina location. This includes recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This is a full-time position and will require the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruiting process.
  • Implement employee relations strategies that foster a positive work environment and minimize employee turnover.
  • Manage the performance management process, including setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and equitable.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and files.
  • Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in human resources.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
