Payroll Administrator

          1. Job Summary

             

            Primary responsibilities will be processing weekly and semi-monthly payroll for all Centro locations. May assist in other Corporate accounting functions as assigned by the Director of Finance.

             

          2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

             

            The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1.    Reconcile time-clock hours to Centro's payroll software system weekly.

    2.    Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll for all Centro locations

    3.    Answer payroll-related questions from all Centro Associates.

    4.    Respond to employment verification requests from various agencies.

    5.    Reconcile monthly benefits billing statements to associates payroll deductions

    6.    Reconcile accrued payroll accounts monthly.

    7.    Create and post all payroll journal entries into Centro's M2K accounting software.

    8.    Serve as backup/assistant for various Accounts Payable duties if available

     

    1. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    1.    Associates Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field required. Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred.

    2.    Three to five years of payroll experience required. Manufacturing industry preferred.

    3.    Exceptional attention to detail.

    4.    Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.

    5.    Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

    6.    Strong computer skills, medium-level Excel knowledge required.

    7.    Ability to multi-task on a regular basis.







    8.    Willingness to accept and embrace change in order to improve efficiencies.

    9.    Friendly, helpful, and customer-service oriented.

    10.    Must be able to read, write, and speak English, hear, and see sufficiently for effective interpersonal communications and to perform essential job functions.

    11.    Must be able to analyze facts, evaluate unique situations, and exercise discretion to determine the most appropriate action plan and/or work sequence or method to perform job tasks effectively.

    A pre-employment physical and drug screen will be required prior to employment.
