What is Rotational Molding?

Rotational molding has been in use as a plastic process since the 1940’s.

Rotational molding is named for the bi-axial rotation of the mold during processing. This rotation keeps the resin evenly dispersed against the inside walls of the mold.  Improvements in process control, equipment and materials over the last few decades have led to significant increases in the popularity of the process with OEM’s of all types.
