Buyer/Purchasing Intern

Centro Inc. is looking for an intern in the Purchasing Department. The position could start immediately and the plan is to run through the summer. Starting at $15/hr.
Follow up on PO’s, validate shipments have been made, track shipments. Responsible for assigned procurement activities to achieve efficient, on-time, and cost-effective delivery of quality materials necessary for Centro’s manufacturing operations. Assists in the development and implementation of Centro’s procurement strategies and supply management programs. Works closely with engineering, sales, and manufacturing to fully understand their needs, and responds accordingly to fulfill them.
Must be a current student pursuing an associate or bachelors degree relating to purchasing materials management or business concepts.
