Responsibilities:

 

  • Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
  • Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new products, processes, and manufacturing equipment.
  • External Communication: Collaborate and work along side our customers to meet and exceed their expectations.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control protocols. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain a high level of quality assurance.
  • Process Management: Leading production launches and ensuring they are executed safely, accurately, and efficiently
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production managers, quality assurance teams, and procurement, to align project goals and ensure seamless coordination.
  • Supplier Management: Evaluate and select suppliers for materials, components, and equipment. Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, cost-effective procurement, and quality assurance.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in plastics manufacturing processes. Identify opportunities for implementing new technologies and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Team Development: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project engineering, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and modifying engineering drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Excellent project management abilities, including planning, organizing, and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of quality control methodologies and experience in implementing quality standards.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001 and ASTM D638.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and handle pressure gracefully.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
